Message from Toni
Dear Friends:
Each
month I do my best to share something of interest and value
with you. I almost always take my own life experiences to share,
or events from the lives of people I know well.
Lately,
my attention has been drawn back to prepardness. This
seems to be a re-occurring theme in my life. I
have become somewhat prepared for emergencies,
but always realize I have more to
learn. I have to admit something to you. Even with
all of the natural
disasters that have taken place in the last three years and the threat
of major disease outbreaks, I had allowed myself to mentally fall
into a state of "yes, but all is well with me." That was
very foolish of me.
I
had a reality check during my trip to Utah last December. I
witnessed
two of my children experience feet, not inches, of snow fall coupled
with ice. My son, Gerard, and I went to the
leading preparedness company in the United States, which
happens
to be located in Salt Lake City. Their shelves were practically barren.
During this same period of time my youngest daughter moved from CA to
Spokane,WA where she was greeted with three weeks of continual snow.
Our phone calls were about food supplies, staying
warm and good bread and soup recipes. Jennifer and her family
had
food storage and resources in their home. So,
making trips out ...a choice. They were prepared because they had done the prepardness before the need arose.
I have been aware of your 'bouts of flu along with days
of
coughing and
sinus congestion. You've called me with questions and orders for
China Blend,
Bronchitis EZE
or Virus A-Way
after
you
were unwell. But the truth is, you need to have those items
in your home to use right away... when you feel the first twang of
change occuring
in your body. That's the time to use those products for the maximum
effect. I know that during this time of the year, daily doses
of ImmuBoost Extra
are essential in my own routine, and I've used more pre-cautions with
other products as of two weeks ago when my area of the country was hit
with some virus/flu thing. I've said it over and over, but it still
remains true, if our immune system is strong, we are more
likely
to avoid being
unwell. We need to pay attention to the immune system and the ph of our
bodies.
I
don't think any of us can deny that we are experiencing both illnesses
and weather
patterns that are intense. I never feel afraid or scared, but
understand that to take a few precautions
is a wise thing to do.
Tornadoes
recently caused massive
destruction not too far from my home, and the prediction for the wheat
crop this summer is dismal from all the reports I'm hearing.
I recently went in on a 'group buy' to get more wheat for my
bread making times. I bought seeds for sprouting and I plan to
dehydrate a portion of my garden this year. My
friend Jan Jenson is a wonderful source of information on dehydration,
sprouting and a lot more. She is a health and preparedness coach. Give
Jan a call. Home: 704.6581946 or Cell: 704.4506115.
Ask
about her info on dehydration and sprouting if you need very
detailed "how to" reporting. Over the years, I've found Jan
to be
a wonderful resource and friend.
What
would actually happen if we could not get to a grocery store,
an Emergency Room, or if we did not have electricity in our
homes for
several days... or weeks...or longer? What would we eat? How
would we mend that open wound?
When
I moved to SC three years ago, my first aid
kits..traditional, homeopathic, and herbal...were mistakenly donated
along with some other items for a community yard sale. I've
been
meaning to replace those items. You know how it is, things
kept
getting in the way of my good intentions.
Last
week, while I was working in my home office, the thought came
pulsing through me that I needed to stop what I was doing and get
together the items I might need either for myself or for others, in
case of a first aid emergency. I got up immediately from my
desk
and went out to
find the necessary items. Bandages for regular wounds and for burns,
various ointments, cold and hot packs, cotton of all sorts, peroxide,
Miracle II soap and neutralizer, super glue to mend skin wounds and
everything else I could possibly think of myself and by calling two of
my children who are in traditional health care. I bottled essential
oils that I didn't already have in my
home
kit and I tucked in liquid herbals of all types from my stock.
I
spent portions of four days gathering items. Just 'cause...
you
never know. Now please understand that I do not feel an
emergency
pounding
at my door. I do not live in fear. However, it feels good to
know
that I have done what I could to secure items I could find
very
useful.
I
have
never taken a harsh marketing approach to try and scare or push people
into
buying products from me. I know this would not be good intent on my
part. But,
please... it is important to be
prepared. Always live in hope and feelings of security, but if you are
prepared with some extra
food and water, a good first aid kit, it feels better than not having
it. It really does.
A really good web site for
preparedness items and ideas for your family is
www.beprepared.com.
Appreciation and Blessings,
PS... As I was just finishing this article (Feb. 21st),
there was an electrical outage in my area of SC. Stores immediately
closed and everyone was asked to go home and stay off of the roads. The
electricity (which means everything in my house except water) was out
for over two hours. Fortunately, I had enough supplies to light a fire
and stay warm. I had an oil lamp for light and some candles. If the
power would have been out for much longer, I would have had an issue
staying warm....even here in SC... where there is no snow or low temps
to deal with.
So, on the 22nd, I went out and bought more Java Logs (eco
friendly/made from coffee grounds), more emergency candles, and a
moderate stack of wood. I noticed I wasn't the only one doing this
because the shelves were almost empty by the time I got to the store.

Testimonial: The Bronchitis EZE is
awesome! It did the trick!! After the 1st dose, I could feel a
difference in the openness of my bronchial airways and lung capacity.
After the 2nd dose I could tell a marked improvement in my overall
condition. Specifically, about 70% of the wheezing had gone! Today,
after having taken 3 doses in 24 hrs, I have almost no mucus left to
expel. I cough only about every 2 hours and it's a very normal depth
cough.
Deborah from Augusta, GA
Testimonial:
I just wanted to give you an update on how I am progressing with the
Liver-Ez and the Dandelion Tincture - what a blessing it is to me and
my body!!! Very unexpected results! I am the amazing shrinking woman.
Before I started your Liver cleanse I had a detox foot bath. The water
looked like someone had dumped a cup of red mud along with a cup of
black top soil in the mixture. I was told that the foot bath revealed
that I needed a liver cleanse. That's when I began to think about my
liver. The Dandelion Tincture and Liver EZE are providing positive
results on my lymph system, too. I'm having all sorts of ineresting
results.
Beryl, Simpsonville, SC
Question: Can you explain why Dandelion
Tincture worked so well for your weight loss?
Answer: Probably not. I am still in a certain
amount of shock over it. It's been nine months now, and my weight seems
to have balanced out at a healthy 129lbs. Recently, I donated blood to
the Red Cross. My blood pressure was 112/73 and the iron content in my
blood was very high. So much for needing meat when you are post
menopausal.
Back to your question. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is known to
remineralize the body and can be helpful to menopausal women. It is a
blood tonic, blood cleanser, and lymph cleanser. It is also a strong
diuretic. It is quite effective in treating disorders of the liver and
bile, especially jaundice. Dandelion contains eudesmanolides-compounds
not found in any other herb-along with flavonoids, mucilage, and
sterols. The combination of these compounds stimulates biles, a fluid
that graciously aids fat digestion. Eating the fresh leaves in a salad
is also said to assist those with diabetes, excessive sleepiness and
obesity.
It's coming on Spring, the best time of the year to use Dandelion
Tincture as a liver cleanse - April - May.
Tip: If you are experiencing Winter Blues, eat
foods that contain Basil or put a drop or two of Basil essential oil on
a cotton puff and inhale it.
Final Good-Bye to 'What To Do Book'
Written
by my later husband, Dirk van Gils. What
To Do When Antibiotics Don't Work has become a great friend
and teacher to all that have used it to stay
well. It is a detailed guide to mixing and using herbal tinctures and
essential oils. Written using the work of medical Drs. Jean Claude
LaPraz and Christian Durraffourd 's 40 years of research and work in
France, this book has become a staple to many. Over 50 recipes are
included in the book with very detailed and correct information about
aromatherapy and the use of essential oils.
Since it was first published in 2002, thousands and thousands of copies
have been sold directly through me and three other distributors. I
currently have less than four hundred copies of What To Do
left. I have
decided that I will retire this book when those copies are gone.
If you need to stock copies for your inventory or know of someone who
could benefit from this material, please let them know this book is
about to be retired.
And, thank you for having been so loyal to the purpose and concepts
contained in this material. As we all move into unchartered times, the
information in What To Do could be
more necessary than ever for those
who don't have it. Thank you again, with love. TvG

Quote of the Month...
"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we
learn.
The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the
acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality
and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience
love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not
lie in things. Meaning lies in us."
Marianne Williamson
Inexpensive and Smart
If you have considered personalizing your essential oils
with your own
logo or name, now could be the time to move forward with that idea. A
little
over one year ago, I purchased a wonderful new full color professional
label printer. My printer uses a unique plastic peel-off label that
offers a high gloss-stain resistant finish. I began using these labels
during the latter part of 2006. I am so
happy with the results in every way...and so are those of you who have
private labeled. By the way, thank you for that business and trust.
I had been working with a limited number of private
label customers for
many years, but with the addition of this new equipment, I was able to
update all of my old customers to the new, smart, professional label...
and accept additional private label customers. It's been working very
well
for all of us.
The master label set-up fee is $300. This includes all
of your
additional label changes and growth for...well forever, unless you
decide to change your label in maor ways. This is an awesome
opportunity and value.
Minimum bottle orders are well with-in the reach of the
small business
owner. Of course, I can provide products for any company, no matter how
large.
If you are thinking of working with Purest Products on
the wholesale
level or have a need for private labeling, please call me at
803.732.3646 or email me at info@purestproducts.com.
I'll be happy to
help you
get started.
