It is one of my favorite herbs: sturdy yet delicate, with a mass of hazy-purple flowers that penetrate the air with a soft fragrance. I am also very fond of lavender essential oil, and use it more than any other. Lavender blooming reminds me that summer is here! And... it's that time of year when skin gets used and abused by the sun. Already this summer I have a tan from working in my vegetable garden and just bustling around doing errands. While a tan always makes me look healthy and glowy, it takes some effort to keep my skin properly nourished. After having lost a total of 60 pounds during the last 12 months...
