Inula and MRSA - Important Information Testimonial from Toni - Essential Oils Private Labeling - SALE During August Message from Toni : Miracles Happen!Just over one year ago, I decided to fulfill a 30 year old dream of moving to North Carolina. I began focusing on that move with real intent. I began searching for a specific property...one that would make my heart sing. The house I wanted was in my mind... the look and design, but mostly the feel. I thought, "If I don't build this house, how will I ever find it?" Moving back to SC 3 1/2 years ago only increased my desire to live in NC. When Dirk passed, I didn't even consider moving that far from the familiar. Building while living in my SC home was not a financial option for me. So, last November, I put my house up for sale and continued to search for that perfect little house in the foothills of Western NC.
Now, I'm living in that little dream house. It sits in a circle of beautiful trees. My dog Mattie has never been happier. I believe in miracles! I closed on my new house just five weeks after first finding it. I remarked to the builder that it was everthing I ever dreamed of. A large living space with a fireplace, a large open kitchen with a butler's pantry, two bedrooms and two full baths on an acre of private land. My son, Jon Alex, who had come to help me move in remarked that this house seemed to be built just for me. I asked the builder how he came up with the design concept. He said it was a combination of an old farm house he lived in once and a cabin that he loved. "When did you draw the design on paper?" "Mmm, it was February 2006," he said. Those of you who have been with Purest Products and me for some time will recall that was the month my late husband, Dirk, transitioned on. Coincidence? I don't think so. Inula and MRSA VirusInfo shared by Jan Jenson, Mooresville, NCExtracts from two Eurasian wildflowers are highly effective at killing the superbug methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), according to a study conducted by researchers at the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) in Ireland. Researchers found that extracts from Inula helenium (commonly known as elecampane) eliminated 100 percent of MRSA colonies upon exposure. Elecampane, also called Horse-heal (Inula helenium), is a perennial composite plant common in many parts of Great Britain, and ranges throughout central and Southern Europe, and in Asia as far eastwards as the Himalayas. It is a rather rigid herb, the stem of which attains a height of from 3 to 5 feet; the leaves are large and toothed, the lower ones stalked, the rest embracing the stem; the flowers are yellow, 2 inches broad, and have many rays, each three-notched at the extremity. The root is thick, branching and mucilaginous, and has a warm, bitter taste and a camphoraceous odor. I. helenium and another wildflower, known as Pulsatilla vulgaris or pasque flower, were tested against 300 different varieties of staphylococci bacteria, including MRSA. P. vulgaris also proved "highly effective" against MRSA, according to an article in the "Irish Examiner."
MRSA is resistant to all first-line antibiotics, making it more likely that
staph infections caused by the bug will proceed for longer without treatment
and spread from the skin to other parts of the body. This makes MRSA correspondingly
more lethal than other staph infections. The increasing prevalence and lethality of
MRSA in hospitals, schools, prisons and other institutional settings across the United States
has made the superbug an issue of increasing concern for health officials. There were times when I thought I had found a buyer for my house...three times to be exact.
Getting a loan these days is not as easy as it used to be. Anyway, just six weeks ago today,
two people presented pre-qualified offers on my SC house. I chose one. That same evening,
a good friend sent me an email photo of a cute little cabin in the woods. It had been custom built by a man for resale.
The house was even near a small town that I'd had my eye on for a long time. The price was right!
Oh , my gosh! I drove up the next day and put a contract on the house immediately. I spent less than
30 minutes in the house when I made that decision.
